
Growing up in Singapore, which is an enigma in itself being a bilingual-centric education and business environment, I was always fascinated by languages.
My business degree, specialization in corporate communications and early career in public relations was the start of my interest in the crossroads between how businesses and organizations can communicate and share their content across multiple markets, locales and languages.
I then ventured into freelance English <> Chinese translation and subtitling work, which led me to pursue a graduate program in translation and localization.
Currently, I am most passionate about multilingual media, entertainment and lifestyle brands around the world, with a particular interest in Asian content and localizing for Asian audiences.
